Luke Jackson attended an event hosted by the City of Phoenix that was highlighted by Mayor Kate Gallego's attendance. This was one of a series of global events initiated by the C40 Organization. C40 is a network of mayors of nearly 100 world-leading cities collaborating to deliver the urgent action needed right now to confront the climate crisis.
Refreshments were served during remarks by the Mayor, which were followed by a Q&A session. A tour was given of a planned multi-acre sustainability site owned by the city for interested visitors. This is a multiphase vision that may bring together several players to lead the way in comprehensive sustainable projects to come.
